Hoping someone may be able to help me find my x2 great grandfather.......he is named the father of Pauline Amelia Valliant  (my great grandmother )born 1857 died 1911.......her mother was Christiana Richards......born 1826 Hackey area.....so far have not found a marriage certificate if they married at all.....bit confused by it all really

There is a George Valliant born 1820 and died 1864 Bermondsey area.....but his marriage was to an Ann Denney in 1856. I am sure it is not him
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated

No birth reg for Pauline so are you referring to her marriage cert

Maiden name search on GRO shows her mothers mmn was Satchwell

1879 marriage cert shows father George - deceased - occ horse dealer

Spouse Arthur Albert Poynter was 22yrs old and Pauline is shown as 21

Can't find any death in 1911

GGM is Pauline Amelia Valliant born  1859, on her birth certificate her father is George Valliant general labourer and her mother is Christina Richards living at Park Row East Street Walworth.

The only Pauline Amelia birth in 1859 was surname Goldstein and there is no 1859 birth as Valliant

This post says she was born 1857 but again - no birth reg??

I think that is the right death referred to in the opening post but the surname on the 1879 marriage cert is Poynter although the 2005 post refers to Pointer
