Solved - Cause of Death
« on: Thursday 09 March 17 11:21 GMT (UK) »
Yet another case of the loopdy doopdy fancy smansy handwiriting that no one can read!
Was interested in this particular person because she is the only female in my family bar one that died fairly young. Sadly i cant make heads nor tails of it!

Can anyone decipher what the cause of death says?

Says "morbi valvularum cordis"

Sounds like some kind of heart valve disease, but for once Googling it isn't producing an answer

Yes, cordis is latin for heart, morbi is latin for disease and valvularian (which I think it says) is obviously the valves of the heart.

I guess as she was in her forties this was probably caused by a virus, rather than the lady having been born with the problem.

I suppose that would make sense, they dont seem to have been very lucky on that side of the family as her son died in his 30s from consumption too!
