No need to have two topics on the same subject as it causes needless confusion. Sorry for any confusion cost but you are right I am not from the area. I'm in Scotland, where my grandfather settled. & this is very new to me. I can't believe how close you stay to my grandfathers roots.Mckeever seems to be a very popular name over there, where we're no do common here in Wigtownshire now spelled "Mckeevor".I had hoped if there was a farm name I might of started a new lead for me. There was also an Eliza Mckeever who stayed next door but I can't find the connection 🤔.Do you think my grandfather & siblings would of been put in a local workhouse after the parents dying?
