The Wright Family - MAIDSTONE - 1901
« on: Wednesday 27 July 05 19:25 BST (UK) »
I am seeking info on my great grandfather's family who I believe resided in Charles Street Maidstone in 1901. Harriett Susanna Wright is living at 26? Charles Street along with 6-7 of her youngest children. My Great Grandfather Sidney was, at this time in the Royal Engineers in South Africa during the Boer War and one of his brothers Herbert Walter Wright was in the police force in Dartford. Harriett's husband Alfred does not appear to be living with her at this time.

Anyone who can help solve the mystery of the missing Wrights or perhaps point me in the right direction would be most welcome, as my tree has come to a full stop at present, and there must be some living descendants somewhere.

Thank you for your time. :) Sue

Hi,

What is it that you're looking for? Information more recent than 1901 or further back? Do you have the 1901 census info? Or any other census info if that's what you're looking for? I am able to help you with the census info if you want.

Regards

Paula

Hello

I am also doing the Wright family as my Mother was a 'Wright'
I have got back to Thomas Wright 1827, but I am stuck as I am unable to confirm his marriage to Marianne.  Also Alfred Wright who married Harriett [Potter] cannot find his date of death must have been between 1917-1928.
I hope you do not mind me asking 'what relation' are you.
