Hi, i agree with most of your info, but, I also found ,Rosina, born 32/33 in South Walsham with Emma & Will in the 1871 census living in Great Yarmouth, have you tried (familysearch) they are there, I think Cotterell is a red herring, happy hunting Dave, p.s 1 more post then you will get P.M.'s, or why not set up your own search on the chat.

Yes, I've been using FamilySearch.  My mother is a Flowerday and I inherited a lot of photos of David and Martha's family, and I believe I have a photo of Emma as well.  David had a daughter named Rosina too, so there are multiple Rosina Flowerdays. 

I think that we are finding the same info because the Rosina Flowerday I found was born in South Walsham.   I have never heard anything about David or any of his brothers and sisters being born out of wedlock, though, and I do believe it's unlikely given the fact that he is the youngest of three.  Who knows?

The Flowerdays were members of Great St. Nicholas parish in Great Yarmouth and their archive site states that most of these records were destroyed by German bombing during WWII.  I think we may be stuck with a lot of conjecture.
