I'm trying to learn more about this couple and find out the parents of both.
Robert was Born 1747 in Pittenweem, Fife, Scotland
Husband of Grizil Horsburgh — married 1772 in Pittenweem, Fife

Did you take your names and dates from the IGI? Their data don't always square with what's on Scotlandspeople. However, I've found a Robert Webster born in 1739 at St. Monans to William Webster and Christian Ramsay; and a Grizel Horsburgh born in 1744 at Elie to David Horsburgh and Isobel Robertson.

My own Pittenweem Horsburghs can be traced back to Elie.

Hi Harris,

Listing the names of their children in order can be useful as it may give a clue to their parentage if the Scottish naming pattern was used.

Annie

Kettering, Northampton:- MacKinnon

Canada:- Callaghan, Cumming, MacPhee

Robert And Grizil had James Webster 1773-1842 who married Jean Gay who had James Webster 1817-1867 who married Elizabeth Provand 1844
