The Torrens Purchasers Index assists researchers find land ownership details between 1863 and 1971 by searching on a surname.

NSW must need to have a quadruple A credit rating.   :'(  :'(  :'(

The Sands directory doesn't seem to cover the area I am looking at.

Found the info on the Torrens Purchasers Index site, thanks JM, but it would have to be the worst site I have ever access for info. Not easy to navigate and they do not use the usual Windows controls. Oh, well, at least I got in info :)

Thanks...

LPI has never set out to be user friendly, even in the physical layout for title searching back before puters or the internet.   I remember taking a feather duster with me on one family history visit in 1970s.  Once Upon A Time .....

Back on track

re Sands, Perhaps I have misunderstood your quest, but those Sands Directories from about 1900s to about 1930s should be giving you NSW Country listings, not just Sydney (City and Metro).

For example,
http://cdn.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/learn/history/archives/sands/1920-1924/1920-part1.pdf

There's an image reads
Sands Sydney Suburban and Country Directory for 1920

and

http://cdn.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/learn/history/archives/sands/1930-1933/1930-part1.pdf
and an image there reads
Sands New South Wales Directory 1930
comprising, amongst other information, City Street, Suburban, Alphabetical, Sydney Trades and Professional, Country Towns (including Famers and Graziers), Country Trades and Professional, Pastoral (Including Postal Towns and Localities), Public Watering Places, Educational, Governmental, Parliamentary, and Miscellaneous Lists.
