« on: Wednesday 27 July 05 02:24 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help!
I am totally stumped. William Beresford was born roughly in the 1840's in Northumberland, Assuming Newcastle, because this is where he settled down with his wife Mary born in Scotland, They had a son in 1862 also william, born in Newcastle, What im looking for is when William the father was born but mainly looking for his death certificate. i have no idea when he died , it was definately before 1870 and after 1861.in 1871 his wife Mary had remarried becoming Mary McGeachin. I also cannot locate the marriage cert for Mary and Hugh McGeachin. this is all the info i have can anyone help out.

Thankyou for your response. i think ive been barking up the wrong tree, ive discovered Mary was actually married to John Berrisford, mind you the same thing with this one. No death certificate either, She definately married Hugh by 1871 census.
The couple Mary and William Berresford also had a son William as did John and Mary, But Mary and Williams child died in infancy.  So John and Mary are our couple living at the right address etc... Am waiting on my GGGrand Fathers Birth certificate to confirm all connections.
Thanks again

ps  John Berrisford was a coal Miner, is there anyway i can find out if there were any mining deaths between 1861 -- 1871 if yes! does the information include names of the deceased.

In the past I have seen such info with names and how the accident occurred. On holiday at moment, when I get home I will look up for you.
