Occupations help please
« on: Monday 06 February 17 20:41 GMT (UK) »
FindMyPast hasn't made any attempt at transcribing these occupations for the 1939 Register.

I read the first one as: Salesman Traveller Embroidery Trimmings?

The second line of the next box I think is Manageress Forewoman?
The second word of the first line Needlework?
And help with the 1st, 3rd & 4th words appreciated please.

Betty

I agree with your first and second box transcriptions.

The first word in the second line - Could be Ast as an abbreviation for Assistant. But I'm stuck with the 3rd and 4rth words.
