Hi All
I have once again hit a brick wall and am looking for any ideas. I have found a census record for William Griffith and Mary Cannon. The census record states that they were residing at 142 Woodstock Road Belfast with Mrs Mary Cunningham.  Children were James, Isabella, Anne, Sarah, Mary 10, William, John and Samuel. I have not been able to discover anything else about the family. Other than my previous connection between the younger William and Sarah with the mention of Carrow Cannon House. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Can you please post a link to the census record that you found. I have searched both 1901 and 1911 and not found a Mary Cunningham or a Griffith family on Woodstock Road in either.

You haven't told us where that census record is, or even which census  :-\

Is this the same William?
Quote
William died on January 30 1911 and his funeral account says "Derry Journal" February 10 1911  that his sons William, James and Joseph and daughters Mrs Jordan, Annie and Rose with nephew P Quinn, were chief mourners.
If so, then did you find him in 1901 census living in Belfast?

This looks to be William Griffith in the 1901 census in Co Donegal.

I wondered that also but possibly this mysterious William Griffith (wife Mary Cannon? although I don't see marriage for them) is the son of that William (wife called Rose- more details on 1st page of this thread).
