This is the 1881 for family, maybe still at the same address on BC.

I do think all clues add up to this family

Good luck

That's a good idea as that will give you an actual birth date which will be useful for checking the 1939 register to ensure William died before then.

Hi just like to let you know I received William Brown's birth certificate today . He was born on 16 August 1879 at 22a Albert Street, Sub District of West Derby. His father being Thomas Brown, a Plasterer and mother being Martha Eleanor Brown formerly Lomas. She registered the birth on 23 September 1879.
Now here's  the problem,  ??? I have gone onto find my past and am unable to locate him. I spoke to my father-in-law and he remembers seeing them on a regular basis when he was a child(he was born 1936) and he believes his grandparents were living at Claribel St, near Princes Park.
Can anybody suggest where I should go from here. Any help would be gratefully appreciated
thanks

Hi,

Many thanks for the update  :)

Have you tried doing an address search on the 1939 for Claribel Street to see if any Browns are living there?
