That should be free online

That's great- thanks. Hadn't realised that they went beyond 1900 online. Sadly, that one has an address in Pilsboro Rd, so doesn't confirm, but I can look at other options now.

The Elizabeth in 1939, no go either, I'm just looking at all the females.

Just gone through all females up to 1942 and no go. Either, they moved, or she didn't get married. Thanks for your time- it's appreciated.

We really have no idea. The only references we have are from my Uncle's 1929 diary. We know from this that the Dohertys were family and when my Grandfather, Uncle and Father visited Delgany for an extended holiday in 1929, that Eilish came to see them several times. (The address was in the back of his 1930 diary)

Thanks. Me neither and I've been right through from 1925 to 1940. Quite probably the address was a short-term rental. Might even have left the country.

If she was about 17 years old in 1929 then her birth should be online- have you tried looking at all the female Dohertys born in Dublin or Delgany in case you recognise any names of parents?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
