Hi, im wondering if anyone may have access to grave records for Llanbrynmair, Powys? Im trying to trace the Jones family that lived there in the early 1800s.
Obviously Jones is a very simple name to trace!!
Langley, Broughton, Taylor, Broad, Cooper, Owen, Bennion, Yorke, Knox, Norcup, Holland, Brookes, White, Davies, Huntbach, Bowler, Barnett.

Hi Tom
FindMyPast have the burial records for Powys, including Llanbryn-mair, which shows 249 Jones burials there.

Could he have been buried in a neighbouring parish? What age would he have been?
Added - or possibly the Old Chapel - Powys FHS have produced a booklet- not sure it's included in the FindMyPast records

YES! The last one you mentioned is my ancestor! I found his will, but with it being a common name was unable to find a baptism. Now i know his age i can try to find him again.
Thank you very much!
Do these records go as far as to say wife of? Just wondering if there may be a record of Richard Jones first wifes death. I dont know her name but she will have died sometime before 1806 when he remarried.

There is a pedigree of Richard Jones baptised 1768 Llanbrynmair going back over 200 years. It is on the IGI so will definitely need pulling appart and checking!
