How To Find Out When Family Came Back From New Zealand

Hi there

Whats the best thing to search to find out when someone came back to England from New Zealand

Myrus Graham
Born 1865 Died 1937
Left for NZ 1883 with family (i have the passenger list details that show this)
He married Emma Blanche Banham in 1896 in Gravesend

So at some time he came back to England

He may also have come back with siblings with John and James

for more info - i can not find myrus on the 1891 census

have been through records of 4 sites for passenger lists and no record of a Myrus Graham coming back into the UK between 1883 and 1896.

is there any possible reason?
