I have an interest in the above post as it is probable that I share family links via the Lindsay/Finlay line. I am unable to contact Iain Finlay Kerr via Personal Message so if anyone is able to assist I'd appreciate it. My links to the family come in at 1877 with marriage of Elizabeth McCutchion to Robert Lindsay, their son James married Jane Finlay who was a sister to Williamina Finlay Kerr. Elizabeth's mother Bridget was likely a sister to my g.grandfather John Dolaghty/Delahunty or at best documents prove she did have a brother Michael who went to USA. So any of Bridget's descendants will have dozens of cousins in the USA - many documented! Thanks
