Letters NWC as part of plot number?
« on: Wednesday 11 January 17 21:30 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows what the letters NWC after a plot number means?
I have come across a burial record with plot number 380NWC, block 10. I have a few family members buried in this same block, and their plot numbers don't have any letter(s) after them, so it doesn't appear to be the standard way of numbering plots.

I'm sure it is something obvious. I know at least one of the 3 people in this plot were cremated - does it identify this somehow?

Thanks in advance :)

Was this for a young child? It sounds as though this was the corner of the grave they were buried in.

One is - he was 20 months. His parents are also buried there, aged 68 and 72. All 3 have NWC after the plot number.
