What is the origin of this photo ? Is it a family photo - possible names, era/date etc ?

Anyway, we all like to know more about photo's as it helps define clothing and theme to the photo.
This one is damaged quite badly, so is 100% open to what the eye can see especially young child on the right i didnt have any idea what the top should be style wise , with no background info to help  ;)

Tried to add some colour and attempt at 2nd clean up. Loosing any natural texture in faces now. Time to stop :-)
