Ancestry DNA Traits - Hair Loss

I don't know the DNA answer but I can supply the genetic answer. Look at the hairline of your maternal grandfather. ie your mums dad. That is your hairline.

( may not be true in all cases but I sure have scared my son )

My mum told me this years ago, so I should retain a full head of hair and not take after my father. It remained true for the first 30 years of my life, but in the next 10 not only did I lose my full hairline I ended up balder than my father.

So how should I interpret these results?

Buy a hat 

And just accept who you are.

As a child I used logic to work out why bald men were bald.
In my experience all bald men wore hats but most men who kept their hair did not wear hats.

I then decided never to wear a hat and I still have my hair.

We both must have had the same thoughts. I used beanies/woollen caps. I noticed how flat peoples hair was when they took the beanies off. From there it was a logical ( to me) process.

ha ha ha, had to respond.  If you go thin - shave it, many many men look good with a shaved head.  Oh, and then thank your MOTHER for it - baldness comes from the mother's side. ;-)
