Northamptonshire Place Name I can't read
« on: Sunday 18 December 16 17:32 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone help me with reading this place name please?  The entry reads " John Winckelles of ???"
It's a Northants village, probably near Greens Norton, but all I can make of it is "Gillsone" which I don't think exists!
Any help gratefully received.

Thank you both- it could well be!  I haven't come across an "S" like that before.
