There is a Edward and Mary Beatty at 5 Market Alley in the 1931/32 Register
and a Joseph and Mary at 6 Mulgrave st. same register.

In the 1941 register, I don't see any Beatty but there is an Edward Beaty living at the same number as Patrick and Mary Bourke, there is an (a) next to his name, I think that means he doesn't belong to their family or has a private area in their house.
Perhaps Mary has died and Patrick is her brother.
