We aren't allowed to post details of living/possibly living people and because the birth year is so recent you cannot view the birth certificate online.

I don’t see a marriage for the parents you have given. If you order the certificate it should confirm the mother’s details and also where and when they married (if they did marry).

Scotlands People shows that Douglas Scott married Mary Rankine Reid in 1931 at Jedburgh.

You can buy credits and view the image which will tell you their respective parents names.
