new register office - many lookups and prints or digital
« on: Friday 02 December 16 21:48 GMT (UK) »
Wondering if there are any people that would go to the register office in Edinburgh and lookup OPR entries, census pages, and bmd registrations with the intent to send then to me via mail or digitally.

At $6 canadian my list is very expensive and hoping to economize by getting someone to do it on a daily visit.

I am willing to pay the daily fee.  And a per piece amount to be negotiated.

Looking for ideas?

Thanks

Hi and welcome to Rootschat I don't know if you are aware there is a daily fee for Register Office in Edinburgh ...If you are looking for some help with census records etc maybe you should post names and dates and places of residence ..

Welcome to Rootschat!

As Rosie suggests, post all the info. you have, names/maiden names/dates/places etc. along with what info. you need as it will be far cheaper downloading from SP (www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk) & you can get plenty of help here to find it on the Index for SP if you're not too familiar with it....most of us aren't either since the changeover but we get there  ;D
