Margaret Ellen Johnson born c.1846, Sunderland

Hello all,

Could anyone please help me with identifying the parents of Margaret Ellen Johnson, born about 1846 at Sunderland, please?

She was my 3x-great-grandmother and married Alexander Watson in 1864.  I appreciate their marriage certificate would hopefully identify her father, but thought I'd post a request in the meantime (and trying to save money due to the time of year )

I have a feeling they were married in the registry office so no church records are jumping out and I also don't seem to have found a baptism record for her either. Unfortunately all her census records simply state 'Sunderland' so I haven't been able to narrow it down to that township or either Bishopwearmouth or Monkwearmouth.

Any help much appreciated.

If she married in 1864, then she was a minor?
If you are correct about her birth, then she was only 18 when married.

Yes, I imagine she was between 17 and 19.

Sorry I can not pinpoint her birth there are 3 possibility.s 1844,1845,1846 none state Ellen or parents
