12 MIDWAY STREET, LEVENSHULME, MANCHESTER
« on: Friday 02 December 16 14:54 GMT (UK) »
Hi I'm trying to find any records of 12 Midway Street, Levenshulme Manchester during the years 1939-1943, My Grandfathers cousin Nellie Louisa Brenkley was living there when she gave Birth to her second son Terence, the main person living there was a woman called Mrs Peach, apart from that I don't have anymore information, i'd like to know what Mrs Peach's first name was and would she have had any family?

If anyone finds anything i'd be very greatfull. I've looked on every site so someone else might know more than me.

Thanks

DJS

Does the name Mrs Peach come from the 1939 register or was she on the birth certificate as informant?

When was Nellie Louisa born?

Hi Mrs Peach's name appears on the next of kin on Nellie's hospital record when Nellie gave birth to Terence. Nellie was born in Oswestry, I just want to know more about Mrs Peach

Right next of kin so she was a relative of some kind then.

Have you searched the 1939 - when was Nellie/Terence born?  She may have been living with Mrs Peach I was thinking.

The address on the birth certificate is 12 Midway Street Longsight.
Terence was born 20 Nell Lane Withington in 1941.

Yes that's right but Mrs Peach wasn't a relative she was just a friend. Terence was born in 1941 so there was no electoral roll that's why I want 1939 and 1945/6

Yes that's right I have the Birth Certificate. It should say Levenshulme even though it's under the Longsight registration district

Unfortunately we are not allowed to do 1939 look ups.

I have done a free street search for Midway Street and number 12 is missing.

There is a big link between Longsight and railways.

There is a Peach family who seem to be working on the railway as guards. Did your grandfather have any connection with the railway?
