Welcome from me, too.

Venue for Bryan and Ethel's marriage is St Lawrence, Ludlow

And the same venue for John and Susan's marriage in 1895.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Can you see how we are working backwards step by step?

Now you have your greatgrandparent's marriage and the names of both fathers. As Garstonite said, it is more fun and probably easier to follow if you do it yourself. To be really sure you have the correct family you will need to buy some certificates at some point. However, you are lucky as, at the moment you are not dealing with really common names such as Smith!

Shout if you need more help.

As I understand it, it is probably what we'd today call a foster child.

" A 'nurse child' can mean a number of things, from informally adopted or fostered, to temporarily 'farmed out' to close kin, or family friends or near neighbours or private individuals who offered a service at what was probably a very low price."
