Hi,

I'm still trying to find information on the late John (Jake) Allan. Again the only information that I have is that in 1950 he lived in Logie gardens, Aberdeen and was at that time a dairy worker. This information is from my late husband's birth certificate (his parents were not married). Any information would be much appreciated as my daughter is desperate to know her father/grandfather's history. Thank you.

Do you know when he died ? his death certificate will give you his parents names ...Another thing you could do is look for a marriage for him could be a bit expensive if using Scotlands People on line ..Do you live in Aberdeen as the Family History Centre in King Street might be able to help
