Doyle street, Hook
« on: Saturday 05 November 16 18:25 GMT (UK) »
Hi folks!
I've purchased my great grandfathers birth certificate and it says that his parents resided at;
Newlove Buildings, Doyle street, Hook.

Does anyone have any information they could give me regarding this address.
Any information will be greatly received.

Thanks!

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Quote " If you google ancestry.co.uk Joseph Tolan there is a small photo of an alley in Doyle Street ( about 6 photos down).
If you go into the topic "Tom Pudding" on the website below the last posting on 26/06/2014 by N R Goole refers to first house in a row of terrace houses.    A birth certificate for Samuel Ramskill in 1878 states he was born in Newloves building in Doyle Street. I would assume that originaly there were houses down Doyle Street but gradually replaced by facilities related to the port and finally what appears to be transport depots."
