I've had my TribalPages privacy set as you describe for at least two years. I've never had Google return a hit on my page. In fact I rarely see any kind of hit for TribalPages. This is my one complaint about them.
Is this your experience also? Do you have any thoughts that might help?

I use Tribalpages to build my tree, not for connecting to others. My privacy is a "custom" setting.
There is the "connections" page[?] that shows other Tribalpages trees that have the same names that you can contact.
If you want a site that people can connect with you then Tribalpages is not the one to choose, maybe Ancestry would be better suited?
Although, if I enter my site name into google it throws up my tree near the top.

I've located and looked at my settings, and all seems ok, the problem is that when I do a search within Tribalpages for any of my surnames that Ive put in, it's not showing up on the website.

If nobody else is researching the same names on Tribalpages then there will not be any trees. If you mean your own tree then it may be  your security level, although it is best to give Tribalpages some time
