I have just come across your post as I am looking at Malcolm Stanners (B around 1781) who was my third great grandfather. He was married to Elizabeth Adamson. His father was Malcolm Stanners and his mother was Nicolas Hamilton. Yes, I think he was a grandson of Malcolm Stanners and Agnes Taylor. If you look at other post on here relating to Stanners and Bell you will find people much more knowledgeable than me! Hope this is of some use to you. I am trying to find evidence of Stanners coming from the Glen Moriston area.
