Thanks Hulme-Griff, thats very interesting- I believe the Bailey that was DNA tested was from Haplogroup J but it would be good to get some more tests done. Coincidentally I see from your names in your signature you have connections with Totton and Lymington......we used to live in Totton and my wife worked in Lymington....small world  :)

Saxonx, I've been thinking about doing it for ages, I really ought to. It might well throw up a few surprises.
As for Lymington and Totton, I was in Lymington last year looking round a rather badly neglected cemetery.
I'm a Millbrook boy myself, lived in Redbridge for years and Totton was much visited, especially the precinct. Small world indeed  :D
