Thanks Hulme-Griff, thats very interesting- I believe the Bailey that was DNA tested was from Haplogroup J but it would be good to get some more tests done. Coincidentally I see from your names in your signature you have connections with Totton and Lymington......we used to live in Totton and my wife worked in Lymington....small world

Saxonx, I've been thinking about doing it for ages, I really ought to. It might well throw up a few surprises.
As for Lymington and Totton, I was in Lymington last year looking round a rather badly neglected cemetery.
I'm a Millbrook boy myself, lived in Redbridge for years and Totton was much visited, especially the precinct. Small world indeed
