Where did you get his birthplace/birthyear from as I can't see an 1841/51/61 entry with that profile

Is he the one shown on an Ancestry tree as marrying 11 Sep 1820 in New South Wales, Australia?

Do you have anything that says he was born in London? I see that he was tried at the Old Bailey and sent to Australia in 1816, but that doesn't mean he was born in London, he could just have gone to London looking for work.

Hi, he was convicted previously a few years earlier in the Middlesex area, so I think he was from there...I think his father was John, but that's only a guess....Rob
