From a birth Registration in 1877 I have come across the place Fair Hill. Please see attached image.
The birth was registered in the Superintendant Registrar's District of Galway ; Registrar's District Galway No2.
Is this Fair Hill a Townland or a Street Name in Galway Town?
Thanks for your help

Google 'townlands galway' and you get lists, which include Fairhill [all one word] but does not appear to be in Galway town.
Fairhill, Killoscobe Civil Parish, Barony of Tiaouin, Co. Galway

The existing Registrars' Districts of Galway No. 1, Galway No. 2, Moycullen and Oranmore shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Galway.

So it looks as if
http://www.logainm.ie/en/1385074
is the one!

Hi Josey and Hallmark,
Thanks to both for your replies
Josey,
I looked at both those websites and in particular
https://www.townlands.ie/galway/
, as this website shows maps of the location of the Townland. My concern is that Fairhill, Killoscobe Civil Parish, Barony of Tiaouin, Co. Galway seems (to me) to be too far away from Galway Town to be Galway No 2 Registration District. Can you advise whether this townland is in fact in Galway No 2 Regisreation District?
Hallmark,
I believe
http://www.logainm.ie/en/20567
is the townland referred to by Josie above
What is
http://www.logainm.ie/en/1385074
? It appears to be in the middle of Galway Town is ir a region of the town or what? Can you confirm that this part of Galway Town was registration district Galway No 2?
Thanks for your help
