James Family, John Henry James, Ship Stewards. Liverpool
« on: Sunday 09 October 16 09:25 BST (UK) »
Good Morning!

My 3x great uncle was John Henry James born 1850ish in Liverpool, he was a Ship Steward, his father also John James was a Sea Captain, married to Joanna Poulson.
John Henry James jr, had a son named JHJ, and it seems that the name has gone down through the generations, with most being ship stewards.  They may have moved around the country with marriage etc .Is anyone related or know any info please?

look forward to your reply!

The marriage for John James mariner to Joanna Poulson 25 Dec 1847 shows his father to be Benjamin a weaver.
