Can't help much but maybe get you started ...

First word could be Jan[uar] or Juni (so January or June) 18 xxx xxxx 1906 in Frankom(?)-b-Lisbon/Laslin(???)

The 'b' in the placename could be short for 'bei'

As I say not much help but brings your query to the top of the list!

Thanks I messaged mod to see if I should/how to move the post when I found there was a board specifically for deciphering handwriting but didn't know how to do it myself - didn't think of linking the post.

You're welcome Lilygirl.
The link must have worked, as I see the other thread with the larger images is reaping rewards.

Yes thankyou so  much Rena.

It's VERY very exciting. I really can't believe it.

I'll have to find out more about Ancestry by the sounds to see if I can view the certificate that was mentioned, it's all new to me so don't have much idea.

lol I can feel you're buzzing with excitement - we've all experienced the same thing.

Ancestry periodically offer free viewing for their records.  Unfortunately you've just missed a freebie weekend by one day.
