The BECKETT surname is interesting for two reasons:-
1) The published summary of the Will of Thomas Crompton WILSON, mentions a Gilbert A. BECKETT (attached).
2) Maudland TURNER (nee Hood) at Selby, Yorks, her eldest Brother-in-Law, was John TURNER, bapt South Kirkby, Yorkshire 1760 and John TURNER's descendants were BECKETT, etc.
