Issitt baptisms in Loddington
« on: Monday 03 October 16 13:19 BST (UK) »
Hi
I have found on Family Search a William Issitt married Elizabeth Burton in Loddington in 1784 and then went on to have two daughters, Ann in 1785 and Mary in 1787, but no others found even when widening the search to "England".

If someone has access to the Loddington baptism registers for the period 1800-1810 would they do a lookup for me to see if William and Elizabeth are still having children there at that time please?

I am looking specifically for Charlotte, born about 1808 please.
Helen

Update 2025
I have now found, with more experience, that I should have investigated the family more before posting the above question as it is not actually valid.
I have now found that William was buried in 1788, so cannot be Charlotte’s father, and Elizabeth probably remarried in 1798 to James Witbey. There was also a further child in 1788, Charles William, and an illegitimate child in 1796 for Elizabeth, Elizabeth Cave Issit.
Ann was buried in 1786 but the other three all went on to marry and the only son stayed in Leicestershire. So no Issits from this family came to Oxfordshire!
