Does the one month subscription give you access to the 1939 register ? I really don't want to take a full years subs.
Many thanks

I doubt it as FindMyPast says " it will be included as part of our 12 month World and Britain subscriptions."

I think that you should be able to access the 1939 on FindMyPast at your local Surrey library  ;)

I have used a few £1 offers but at the moment seem to have exhausted the FindMyPast databases. I do check every Friday for the FindMyPast Friday records but when 95% of them are Irish I skim past them as they are totally irrelevant to my search. A few more trips to RO's I think is in the pipeline then. New leads will make me want to use FindMyPast again. One gripe is when they release some new records for a county of interest, they seem to have every parish except the ones your ancestors lived in. Sorry, I am probably just on my soapbox and having a mini rant.  ;D

Surrey History Centre in Woking also has FindMyPast access.   ;D

I can't see whether Kingston library has FindMyPast access as it comes under the London Borough of Kingston & not Surrey libraries  :-\

I find the same coombs. I think it's a bit deceptive sometimes when they make a song and dance about records they have, but when you look further into it, they only have a fraction of them. My ancestors are always missing too.

And they never seem to say which parishes are covered and sometimes users comment through FB asking "What are the 20 parishes"? Oh well, more doing it the old fashioned way than putting them on backburners and waiting for them to come online. Dusty record offices, being told to put all coats in a locker and being told off for yelping out "hurrah" when finding an elusive rellie.

I think exactly what js available in each record set is there on the site, but last time I looked, I had to hunt it down. To someone like myself who rarely uses FindMyPast, it's not in an obvious or easily accessible place.
(some time ago I asked the question of FindMyPast and a nice customer care chap told me where to find the information)
