Born - 8 June 1891 at Hackney, North East London, England.
Deceased - 1965 in Christchurch.   I am unsure of the actual date.
 can anyone help me track his ancestors

He enlisted into the 3rd Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers Regiment on 10 December 1909.
His Regimental Number was 13801 and he reached the rank of Lance Corporal.
He saw service in England and in Europe during WW1, had 2 wound stripes and was awarded the following medals;

1914 – 15 Star
British War Medal
Victory Medal.


Born in Hacney 1891 I think his father had the dsame name Richard

rawiri,i think richard served under an alias,i think his name was rudolph,his father was also called rudolph,mother name was annie,his parents were german,his brother henry served in the royal army medical corps as a private,No 36050,then he transferred to the essex regt,No45466,private,richard was a regular soldier,the 3rd batt were in lucknow when the war broke out,they landed in england in december 1914 and went to winchester,in jan 1915 they landed at havre in france,then in oct they went to egypt,then salonika,in 1918 they served in greece then on to taranto.on 9-7-18 they landed back in france and finished the war at dourlers just north of avesnes.
he had three sisters,bertha,emma and maud,mack
military history,mainly ww1,manchester pals battalions,tyneside irish +tyneside scottish brigades,leeds,liverpool,accrington,birmingham,hull,barnsley,swansea and salford pals.
