Any help in deciphering the writing in red ink on his school Admission's Register would be very much appreciated.  i can make out the odd word but not enough for it to make sense.

So it looks to be:  Has hardly been....... years.   Reason given for no previous school attendance.

There is another little bit on the page which I cannot read if I may trouble you further....

I believe it reads ...

Has had ring worm nearly a year, reason ^given^ for no previous school attendance

(Ringworm was a very common cause of being off school.)

I think this second extract might read ... re. Woodbridge Rd
Perhaps the child removed to another school? Not sure about the W, so a bit more of the page might help.

I think so, too. It definitely is had and not hardly.

A big thank you to you all for taking the time to look and reply.  I am happy to go with the 'Has had ring worm......"

Bookbox - Woodbridge Road would certainly make sense.   Many thanks for your help.
