Grandmothers Grave Maesteg
« on: Sunday 18 September 16 15:57 BST (UK) »
Hi all,
I am looking for my grandmothers grave I believe she might be buried in Maesteg cemetery, her name was Sarah Charles died November 1946. I have visited the graveyard a few times but have never managed to get it all covered. I live in Norfolk so my time there is limited.
Many thanks
Maesteg,Bridgend,Caerau.

You could try the Glamorgan look up exchange, not sure how far the dates go

Good luck

Hi Della,

There is no Sarah Charles listed in the burial book for November 1946.

There is a Sarah Pearce buried December 4th 1946 a widow aged 84 Grave no 6202. 63 Caerau Rd

There is a Sarah James buried 28 August 1946 a married woman Aged 63 of 5 Brown street Nantyffyllon.

These are the two closest with the Christian name Sarah

Regards
MLR
