Hello All.
This forum has been very helpful to me in tracking down part of my father’s Cornish family. I am trying to find information about my grandfather’s older brother, Arthur Williams. Arthur was listed in the 1911 census as living at 10 Centenary Row West, Camborne, age 23, a packer at the fuse works. I believe he joined the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry in WWI. I have been unable to sort through all of the Arthur Williams’ from Cornwall to find any clue as to whether he survived the war and/or if he married or when he died. However, I recently found my grandfather’s address book from 1953 which has Arthur living at Trenhaile Terrace, Malpas, Truro. There is a note saying Arthur worked at the Boscawen Bridge. Can anyone point me to any relevant information?
Thank you!
