To avoid speculation you could do what the rest of us do....a little research into the subject...you will be surprised at how much knowledge you will gain

SB, imagine if yours had been the only reply.

Poor John might have thought that you knew what you were talking about and believed what you said. You could have messed up his research by telling him that this isn't a wedding photo.

Usually  it would  be the woman sitting down, I would have thought?       So unlikely   to be a wedding photo, surely
