He appears to be the son of Joseph WILKINSON and Rosetta JOLLY. born Staffordshire.  Address on passenger list the same as the address on a census and birth registration -  on Andrews Cards.

Could this be his death reg....age about correct and as his age and place of death have been noted on the index there may be little more about him.

The Death Notice in the SMH  for Donald Wilson  WILKINSON 5.9.1961 states this chap was the son of Mr and Mrs Donald Wilson WILKINSON of Birmingham England

Well that eliminates that Donald WILKINSON and I checked the death notice and it is WILKINSON not WILSON.....just a typo Cass ;)   Glad you found the notice.

I wonder if Donald Edward headed to NZ or Canada?

Donald Edward was the youngest son of Joseph Wilkinson and Rosetta Jolly of Birmingham England (Staffordshire,Warwickshire) Joseph married sisters Margaret Jolly was my great grand  died from complications in child birth The two oldest  ran away to Canada as boys/men around 1904-05 They may not have known Donald
I have received some good tips and direction i will work away at this for a time I have found most have a contact or a relative when immigrating.

I wonder if Donald is mentioned in the distribution of his father estate.

Terry there is no Will.  It appears he died intestate and Administrators were appointed to administer his estate....not executors.  Hopefully his sons are mentioned in a possible distribution.
