Good Morning,

Have you looked in the NZ Resources for the links to whakapapa research?
You will find a lot of help there.
Regards

 Hi there

Can you supply some rough dates for us to work from?

Try using  Family Search  IGI .   I wonder if this record  is related to one of your families. PAKARU Niheta  (born 1888) married to EDWARDS Maata/ Matenui at Bethlehem NZ  Parents TE PAKARU Karora and Rangi TE PAKARU mother.  Niheta also appears to have a child  named Koreteao Niheta ( Bernard ) born 1935

I also looked at BDM New Zealand historical marriages online and found 2 marriages that may or may not be part of your search.  I searched under PAKARU and put in from 01/01/1840.  Have a look at these and check if they are relevant or not.

Good luck with your whakapapa reserch  Regards Orkrad
