Rhymney is a small town originally in Monmouthshire and now in the county borough of Caerphilley according to Wikipedia. On the map it's east of Merthyr Tydfil.

I agree that the residence is Rhymney - these valleys towns are linked by the Heads of the Valleys Road which runs  - as the name  suggests - along the head of the valleys.
