1841 Census says that John Adams was a jobbing labourer and residence is in Jordan Well. This matches with Dent/Beasley data as her daughter Ellenor and husband William Dent (married 1831 at Foleshill and eldest son Joseph baptised at St Michael's Coventry in 1832) lived in Jordan Well before coming to South Australia. Susannah's son Joseph also lived near there and she apprenticed him to a Whitesmith of the name Thomas Davies in 1828 at which time she was listed as 'widowed'.
