Photo Comparason Charles and Agnes Smith

Hi All Rootschatters,

I am probably asking for the impossible, but here goes.

Ever since I started researching my Ancestry, I have never been able to find a photo of my Great Grandfather, Henry Vincent, until possibly now.
Attached are two photo's one which is very blurred, and the other very good. Is it possible to cypher if the two photo's are of the same person, possibly by face profile or other. I have asked living relatives their thoughts to no avail.

:- Edited I should point out that Henry would be 54, when this photo was taken with his daughter Agnes.!!! I know for fact it is not her husband, as I have a photo of him.

You have to ask yourself the question who is she going to have a photo with, other than the husband ?
Father, brother perhaps.
He doesn't look 54 more 30's.
2nd. question, are you sure it's Agnes ?
What year is this ? 20's -30's.

Thankyou for your reply. All the questions you ask are the same as I have asked myself.
Yes it is definitely Agnes and yes I have a few photo's of him, Charles Smith, her husband, on their wedding day, so you can count those 2 points off your list.
The photo/wedding took place in 1904, Henry her father would have been 50 odd when Agnes married, at 19 years of age. As far as brothers or that goes I do have photo's of them, so you can count that out.

I suppose I will be in the dark unless I can chase up more family members, which is a bit difficult as I live in Townsville, most of the others in Tassie.

I'm not sure the wedding photo is  as early as 1904 - I'd guess 1920s/30s and I see that Jim has suggested that decade too.

Also, I don't think they are the same person - the lower one is from an earlier period.

Is there anything on the back of the photos that would give some extra info ?

I agree with 1920s too based on the wedding dress and the head dress...I don't think they are the same man either.
