Just looked on the new Ancestry one for a relative who was on the original cmhrc site. The record is not there now on Ancestry

Same with my relatives, although, as a test,  I did do some searches for time periods without names and quite a long list came up. Not sure which areas are covered - I noticed that there were some from the Wrexham area but not for the adjacent pits in the Shropshire coalfield  :-\

 :(
I have just noticed another one not on the http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=9735
but it used to be on the cmhrc site.

What makes it even more irritating is that Ancestry.com even have the cheek to link cmhrc in each record, but when you click on it the cmhrc site no longer exists, as they well know.

Durham Mining Museum may not be relevant to your question but it does have a large database of other sites that may be relevant.
