John Fowler and Mary Thomas marriage

I have just found a reference to the marriage of John Fowler and Mary Thomas.

Marriage date 11 Mar 1834
St John Parish, Bedwardine, Worcester, England.
FHL Film Number 394852
p. 192#574

Could anyone tell me if it is possible to view this record online please (I live in Malaysia)

Im as good as certain you wont be able to view it on line but I shall be searching registers on Tuesday so will get all that is given on the parish register for that marriage & post it on Roots Chat pages later next week if that will help you a bit.  pity the marriage wasn't after 1837 as you would have got a lot more information then

Thanks Phil, I've tried looking in Parish registers but to no avail. The info that i'm really interested in his Mary's parents name but all info will be helpfull.

Parents names weren't shown before civil registration in 1837.

Hi Keith, as the Marriage is pre Sept 1837 when Civil Reg of Marriages was introduced the record will not have Parents names.
If you are lucky Witnesses names to the Marriage may help.
Even after 1837 only Fathers names/occp's were noted.


From Census when/where was Mary born?

Looking for a Baptism may be easier.

I looked at the parish registers for St John in Bedwardine yesterday & here is the result
11MAR1834 by license page192 No574
John Fowler (B) OTP = Mary Thomas of Pershore Holy Cross
By Benjin Dent Curate
Witnesses- John Beard, Sarah Fowler
Both bride groom appear to have signed the register entry

I had a look but was unable to find either of there bapisms in the parishes given
